Volunteering at Bentleyville

Volunteering provides an opportunity to support Bentleyville. A variety of jobs require active individuals in order to make Bentleyville run smoothly. If you are a high-paced individual who loves interacting with the public, then we want you!

To Volunteer at Bentleyville Tour of Lights during the display season (mid-November through Christmas), you must first be a registered user of the Bentleyviileusa.org website. If you are not yet a registered user, click register. Volunteers wishing to help with Bentleyville set-up are not required to register on the web page. Registration is only required if you wish to volunteer while Bentleyville is open. Please watch the Calendar of Events on the home page for setup information.

Once logged in, you need to fill out the Volunteer Application. This form gives us contact information as well as your areas of interest. The link to the Volunteer Application will appear after you have logged in.

The Volunteer Applications get manually reviewed; therefore the approval of your application may take up to two business days. You will be notified by e-mail once your application is approved that states you have been added to the role of "Active Volunteer". You will not be able to access the volunteer calendar until this approval process has been completed.

If you are unsure of which positions you are interested in, please read our Job Descriptions.

Volunteer Requirements:
Volunteers working Bentleyville Tour of Lights need to be on site by 4:00 p.m. and work until closing. There are no exceptions to this rule. Upon arriving at Bentleyville, please see the volunteer attendant at the yellow gift box near the family center building.

volunteering

I would like to thank Patty for steping up while down at Bentleyville with her family tonite to help me out in the Marshmellow Hut. Super busy, she jumped in and helped me for 2 hours while her family also helped a while and then waited for it to slow down. The person who was scheduled to be there volunteered and never showed up or called so a replacement could be sought out, was not very conciderit of anyone else. IF you are going to put your name down to volunteer, do it or give enough notice to have a replace ment found. Its only common sence and polite to do or DONT put your name down.

Again thank you Patty and her family, it was so much appreciated.
